Meet the Team
The team are sent on regular CPD (Continual Professional Development) courses to improve and continually increase knowledge and up-to-date techniques in all aspects of dentistry. All staff are registered with the GDC (General Dental Council).
Dr IS Hunjan
Dental Surgeon
(BDS (Lond), LDS, RCS (Eng))
Dr Hunjan qualified as a dental surgeon in 1990. Qualifications from London University, The Royal Collage of Surgeons and a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Restorative Cosmetic Dentistry and Implant Placement.
Sarah Armstrong
Practice Manager
Sarah joined the practice 13 years ago and has over 25 years experience in dental nursing, reception duties and practice management. She also runs the Emergency Dental Co-operative the out of hours emergency service.
Alison Holliday
Dental Hygienist
(Dip in Hygiene (EDH))
Alison qualified as a dental hygienist in 1994 from the Royal Air Force and has worked for the practice since leaving the RAF in 2001.
Joanne Lea
Registered Dental Nurse
Jo qualified as a dental Nurse in 1997 and has been part of Alexandra Road D.P. team for 4 years. She joined the practice as a dental nurse having previously worked in an orthodontic practice in Roundhay.
Vicky Grimley
Senior Registered Dental Nurse
Vicky qualified as a dental nurse in 2002 and has been working at Alexandra Road D.P. for 3 years, which she thoroughly enjoys. Vicky has worked predominantly in NHS practices before coming to Alexandra Road D.P.. She has recently finished her implant nurse training and is co-ordinator of our implant cases at the practice.
Sara Bennette
Registered Dental Nurse and Practice Marketing Coorinator
Sara qualified as a dental nurse in 1999 and also gained her qualification in Oral Health Education in 2006. Sara has over 12 years experience in dentistry ranging from implantology and endodontics to relative analgesia and sedation. Sara is also a registered Reflexologist and hopes to soon provide this service within the practice.
